"I have this need in me, I know its from God, to paint and draw faces, to show the rich culture that has lived for hundreds of years and left it's traces on the face."
I was born in New Mexico with a love of the west and native Americans keep within me from Cherokee and Seminole great-grandparents.
It is a never-ending challenge for me to pull the viewer of my portraits into this life-telling story, to see the inner spirit, to touch his soul with yours.
"I see and want the viewer to hold my vision of life, the excitement I feel at stopping a moment of time in portraits."

Prismacolor Pencils as oil wash, here the love of Prismacolor Pencils and the human form was set. Doing portraits with Prismacolor Pencils as a paint (when wet with paint thinners) is a very unique experience.
